The Rittman Chamber of Commerce

 
 

The Rittman Chamber of Commerce was founded on November 18, 1947. The original trustees were James Wilson Frye, Christian E. Rhonemusm and Robert M., Feed. On November 6, 1947, article of incorporation were submitted to the the State of Ohio. On November 18, 1947, Edward J Hummel, Secretary of State, signed the articles of incorporation. The purpose for which the organization was formed was to advance the commercial, industrial, civic, and general interest of Rittman, and its trade area, thereby making said city a better place to live and transact business.

The Rittman Chamber of Commerce is a nonpartisan, nonsectarian and non-profit organization. Any reputable person, association, corporation, partnership or estate may apply to membership in the Rittman Chamber of Commerce. This volunteer partnership of business, professional people, and area citizens work together to accomplish goals that are in most cases impractical to handle single-handedly. In preparation for the future, this network of individuals collaborate to meet the needs of the economy and community through various workshops and activities.
